**Job Title:** Speech-Language Pathology Assistant

**Location:** Near Galveston, Texas

**Estimated Salary:** $55,000 - $65,000 per year

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to join our educational team near Galveston, Texas. As an SLPA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide support to elementary students with speech and language needs.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to elementary students as directed by the supervising SLP.
  • Assist in the preparation and organization of therapy sessions and materials.
  • Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals.
  • Provide support in classroom activities and collaborate with teachers to integrate communication strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding student progress and needs.
  • Maintain accurate records and follow all school and district policies.

**Qualifications:**
Ambitious individuals with an Associates or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field are encouraged to apply. A valid Texas SLPA license is required, and experience working with children in a school setting is preferred. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for this role.
