Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental Services Director to join our team at Frontier Management Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall maintenance and upkeep of our facilities, including common areas, residential apartments, grounds, equipment, and vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Exhibit proficiency in a wide range of building maintenance and mechanical work, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, masonry, and drywall repair.
  • Promptly respond to resident apartment maintenance or repairs, ensuring timely and efficient resolution.
  • Inspect and prepare all apartments for rent-ready status before new residents move in.
  • Evaluate the performance of all service contractors and ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Perform all required painting, general maintenance, ground maintenance, and other duties as required to safely and properly operate the community.
  • Ensure all company, state, local, or federal health, safety, building, fire, and insurance codes or requirements are met or exceeded at all times.
  • Maintain effective inventory and loss control programs for the supplies, parts, tools, and equipment of the maintenance department.
  • Safely and efficiently provide transportation for residents when necessary, including resident activities, appointments, events, and emergencies.
  • Participate in all required training, orientations, meetings, and programs offered by the employer.
  • Present a professional demeanor that communicates the corporate philosophy of service, goodwill, and genuine interest in the residents' unique needs.
Requirements
  • Must be able to relate to the elderly in a positive manner.
  • Must be a skilled maintenance person for general maintenance duties.
  • Must be clean, tidy, and appropriately dressed.
  • Must use caution in performing duties and maintain safe working practices.
  • Must possess a current state-specific driver's license and appropriate driving record.
  • High school graduation or equivalent.
  • Compassion for the elderly.
  • Self-motivation.
