Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the availability and effective allocation of resources.
  • Create comprehensive project plans to monitor progress and performance.
  • Employ suitable verification methods to manage alterations in project scope, timelines, and financials.
  • Utilize project management systems to evaluate performance, including cost management tools and methodologies.
  • Communicate and escalate issues to management as necessary.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and all project team members.
  • Conduct expense forecasting to assess project feasibility and scope.
  • Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential project risks.
  • Establish and nurture partnerships with third-party vendors.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, or construction management is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing water/wastewater facility projects.
  • Demonstrated experience as a project supervisor.
  • Strong technical foundation with practical experience.
  • Exceptional client relationship management and internal communication abilities.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Work Environment:

In this role, employees may be required to:

  • Travel frequently by vehicle; maintaining a clean driving record may be necessary.
  • Manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Work in environments with varying noise levels.
  • Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary.
  • Meet specific vision requirements, including the ability to focus closely.
  • Engage in physical activities such as standing, walking, using hands, reaching, kneeling, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
