Overview:


We are in search of a candidate with a robust engineering background and exceptional project management capabilities to assist our team in the decomposition and oversight of test station development and initiation.

The ideal applicant will possess 4-7 years of project management experience specifically within the consumer electronics sector.

Key Responsibilities:


Facilitate Test Engineering teams in identifying their hardware and software development and validation dependencies; create timelines for the delivery of test solutions (Fixture, software, validation), monitor the delivery of dependencies and overarching product milestones; identify risks and escalate any gaps.

Break down test and calibration requirements into specific features with clear dependencies, and monitor deliverables against system milestones.

Organize meetings among cross-functional teams to address issues as necessary; document meeting notes and action items, and ensure follow-up at checkpoints.

Record and disseminate insights regarding build initiation timelines and deliverables among contract manufacturing partners.

Collaborate with internal logistics teams and cross-functional EPM teams to synchronize logistics; gather schedules for hardware module and test Fixture deliveries and evaluate potential initiation/validation risks.

Utilize project management methodologies (e.g., critical path analysis, Gantt charting, risk registry) and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Wrike) to establish a consistent Build Initiation tracking process.

Qualifications:
4-7 years of project management experience in consumer electronics

Capability to design and implement project management processes, breaking down objectives into distinct deliverables, and applying appropriate frameworks to monitor and manage progress.

Experience in defining, collecting, and tracking system-level, hardware, and software requirements; a history of collaboration with cross-functional partners.

Strong understanding of hardware NPI, xVT build cycles, and the significance of factory testing in relation to system builds.

A proven track record of proactively identifying, highlighting, and addressing risks.
Clear and effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Willingness to work collaboratively with remote teams during flexible hours.
Electrical Engineering background is highly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with OEMs and expertise in test engineering for embedded systems.

Work Arrangement:
Hybrid work model with specific onsite requirements.
