Ultrasound Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic procedures and providing excellent customer service to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures to produce high-quality images for medical diagnosis
- Assist physicians and medical staff during procedures as requested or required
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, family members, and medical staff
- Communicate effectively with patients, family members, physicians, and medical staff
- Stay up-to-date with changes in radiology and adhere to NMHS/NMMC policies and procedures
- Graduate of an approved school of ultrasound technology
- Registered by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM)
- Registered by the American Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) preferred
- Licensed by the State of Mississippi (MRT) preferred
- American Heart Association (AHA) CPR certification required
- Good written and verbal communication skills required
