Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Hospice Registered Nurse to join our team at Focus Staff. As a Hospice Travel Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a Hospice setting, working closely with our team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in a Hospice setting, including administering medications, wound care, and other treatments as needed.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients, taking into account their unique needs and goals.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients, including physical, emotional, and social evaluations.
- Document patient progress and outcomes, maintaining accurate and detailed records.
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience in a Hospice setting, with a preference for 2 years or more.
- Valid RN license in the state of Connecticut.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
