Job Summary:

UCHealth is seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN SANE Safe Instructor to join our team. As a Telehealth instructor, you will provide educational support to rural SANE programs, assist with the development of a plan of care, and provide guidance with assessment, documentation, evidence collection, and community partner interactions as needed.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement SANE/SAFE educational programs, utilizing methods, measurements, and tools to evaluate achievement of learning goals. Collaborate with managers and staff to assess the learning needs and competency of staff and new hires. Serve as a consultant for staff in areas of program development, clinical practice, and professional development. Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

Registered Nurse with Sexual Assault Nurse Exam - Adult/Adolescent certification. Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program and completion of Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner training. 3 years of clinical experience in forensic nursing. BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire. All life support certification cards must be issued by either the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer. (American Red Cross for the Professional Rescuer is only good upon hire and all renewals will need to be through an American Heart Association sanctioned course.)

Competitive hourly rate: $37.06 - $57.44/hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
