About the Role

As a Training Instructor at the U.S. Pacific Fleet, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our organization by providing exceptional training and development opportunities to our team members.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Training Instructor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, revising, and adapting assigned courses under close supervision. You will also learn to develop facilities, training devices, and evaluation tools, as well as prepare lesson plans and training materials based on course objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, revise, and adapt assigned courses under close supervision.
  • Learn to develop facilities, training devices, and evaluation tools.
  • Prepare lesson plans and training materials based on course objectives.
  • Develop necessary training aids and determine time schedules and sequences of instruction.
  • Encourage class attendance, participation, and proper conduct.
  • Be responsible for the improvement and modification of training for assigned courses under close supervision.
  • Maintain training records and develop training reports under the guidance of the supervisor or lead instructor.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in training and development, preferably with experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as education, instructional design, or a related field.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
