Georgia Crown Distributing Company is a comprehensive beverage distributor engaged in wholesale operations across multiple states, including Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee. The company specializes in the sale of both imported and domestic spirits, wines, beers, and specialty products. We are currently seeking a dedicated Warehouse/Forklift Operator for our state-of-the-art facility in Blue Ridge, Georgia.
Key Responsibilities:
This role primarily involves warehouse operations, with responsibilities that include:
- Operating Forklifts and Yard Trucks
- Loading and unloading delivery trucks
- Relocating both empty and loaded trailers within the yard
- Conducting inventory checks of products
- Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and warehouse areas
- Performing additional duties as assigned
- Maintaining the organization of warehouse items
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Minimum age of 18 years
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to perform repetitive lifting and prolonged standing/sitting
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience operating forklifts and yard trucks
- Capability to safely transport products to designated areas
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to pass background checks
