Faculty Position Overview
We are seeking an accomplished Sleep Medicine physician to support our program. This position offers a unique opportunity to provide clinical care, teach, and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Successful candidates will work collaboratively with medical students, residents, and fellows in an outpatient clinic setting, contributing to the growth and development of our team.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain active engagement in education and training missions, ensuring a high-quality learning experience for learners.
- Contribute to ambulatory and hospital-based care, working closely with colleagues to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement, safety, and clinical projects in Sleep Medicine, driving innovation and excellence.
- Treat Sleep Medicine patients while accompanied by learners, providing guidance and mentorship.
- Partner with outpatient sleep medicine advance practice providers in managing a large panel of sleep patients, including obstructive sleep apnea, sleep disordered breathing, circadian rhythm disorders, narcolepsy, and other parasomnias.
- Interpret sleep studies from two busy sleep labs, utilizing expertise to inform patient care.
- Participate in a pro rata amount of on-call coverage, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to the team.
