This position is part of the Live, Virtual, Constructive Solutions group within HII's Mission Technologies division. As a reliable partner to military clients, we develop and manage systems that unite service members globally to enhance training effectiveness.
HII - Mission Technologies is seeking a Security Program Manager to oversee physical, construction, and personnel security at designated military installations and associated units at various security classifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement security programs and protocols for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment.
- Review and apply federal security regulations pertinent to organizational operations.
- Engage with government agencies to obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for regulatory compliance.
- Develop manuals that outline regulations and establish procedures for the management, storage, and documentation of sensitive materials.
- Conduct security training sessions and audits, investigate security breaches, and prepare reports detailing preventive measures.
- Maintain accreditation documentation for all secure facilities and controlled storage areas.
- Provide expertise and support for construction security at designated facilities.
- Plan, organize, and lead the collateral security program at the Squadron Level.
- Establish policies and procedures for special access functions.
- Assess compliance of vault and secure facility operations with security standards, identify deficiencies, and analyze vulnerabilities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 6 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field; or 4 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree; or a High School Diploma with 10 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient knowledge of DISS application.
- Active TS Clearance.
- Familiarity with industrial security programs.
- Understanding of secure facility operations and access control.
- Knowledge of S/SAP or TS/SAP facility accreditation processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Prior experience with PKI access and JPAS utilization.
- Experience in secure environments with a solid understanding of access control.
- 3 years of experience in a USAF environment as active duty, guard, reserve, civilian, or contractor.
Physical Requirements: Job performance necessitates adequate visual acuity and manual dexterity to meet discipline requirements. The work environment is primarily office-based.
