Position Overview

We are dedicated to advancing wireless technology through exceptional research and technical expertise within industry standardization bodies. We are currently looking for a 5G NR System Simulation Intern who possesses a strong background in the creation and enhancement of dynamic wireless system simulation software tools.

Role Responsibilities

The selected candidate will play a vital role in the development of our system-level simulation platform. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing dynamic simulation platforms and tools to facilitate the evaluation and analysis of technology solutions for 5G and future radio systems.
  • Conducting physical layer and system-level design validation to support the evolution of 5G radio technologies.
  • Evaluating, analyzing, and innovating technology solutions for user data control and transfer at L2/MAC and L3/RRC protocol layers.
  • Actively engaging in the standardization process by preparing contributions for upcoming working group meetings.

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in wireless communications.
  • Proficiency in system-level simulations (L1/PHY, L2/MAC) and MATLAB.
  • Familiarity with GitHub/GitLab, NS-3, C/C++, and Python in a Linux environment is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical, technical, innovative, and leadership capabilities.
  • Ability to excel in a dynamic, collaborative, and team-oriented environment.
