Overview
The Laurels of Sandy Creek is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. As a Nurse Leader, you will have the opportunity to utilize your nursing skills and experience to provide high-quality care to our guests.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for guests, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
- Supervise and coordinate the care provided by our team of licensed practical nurses (LPNs), certified nursing assistants (CNAs), and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide safe and accurate medication administration, as well as monitor and report any changes in a guest's condition to the physician.
- Conduct thorough assessments of guests' health status and develop plans to prevent complications and promote optimal health outcomes.
- Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in a long-term care setting, preferably in a leadership role.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state.
- CPR certification or acceptable exemption.
