**Transportation Operations Manager**

At Tmcaz, we are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for supervising, evaluating, training, and guiding assigned employees in the Transportation Department.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Exhibit excellence in customer service through appropriate attitude and interaction with visitors and staff.
  • Perform supervisory functions, including preparing work schedules, assigning staff, observing performance to provide input to formal evaluations, and making recommendations for personnel actions.
  • Assist in staff selection and provide training and orientation for employees.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and control expenses within approved budget allocations.
  • Create and maintain databases.
  • Investigate complaints and take appropriate steps for resolution.
  • Evaluate difficult situations outside span of control and refer to management.
  • Develop and establish operating policies consistent with overall policies and objectives and ensure their adequate execution.
  • Assist with transportation duties as needed.

**Requirements:**

  • High school diploma or GED; or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
  • Four (4) years of transportation experience; preferably in an acute care setting and in a lead or supervisory role.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company car, due to insurance company requirements.
  • Current Heartsaver Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certificate.
  • Valid AZ drivers license.
