We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy. This role primarily involves dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
  • Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist
  • Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
  • Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
  • Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records
  • Works with the Pharmacist to ensure pharmacy functions and compliance with all federal and state requirements
  • Performs various clerical duties relating to the department
  • Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Active and Unrestricted Pharmacy Technician License in the state of Kentucky
  • Access to reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience

Location: 2225 West Broadway, Louisville, KY 40211

Schedule: The pharmacy is open Monday-Thursday 8:30am to 5:00pm EST and Friday 8:30am to 3:30pm EST. The manager is willing to work with you on the schedule during the week, as long as you can work 20 hours each week within these times.
