Job Title: Housekeeping Staff

Cavalier Healthcare of England is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Staff to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and perform daily floor cleaning and maintenance, including dry mopping, wet mopping, and buffing, in resident rooms, offices, storage areas, departmental areas, and common areas.
  • Remove and replace floor finish on tile floors.
  • Oversee cleaning of spills or soiled areas, as directed.
  • Maintain clean storage areas and move furniture, as needed.
  • Perform minor repairs to building and equipment, furniture, and fixtures.
  • Maintain proper functioning and adequacy of lighting.
  • Oversee daily functions of housekeeping and laundry staff.
  • Oversee daily functions of maintenance services.
  • May be required to flip mattresses on resident beds.
  • Oversee cleaning of the dining room after all meals.
  • Change cubical curtains and drapes as needed.
  • All other duties, as directed by the Administrator.

Working Conditions:

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to tolerate prolonged standing and walking. The employee must also be able to take and give instructions well and enjoy working with the elderly.

This position involves risks classified by C.D.C. as Category II. The employee may be exposed to blood or other bodily fluids in the event of an emergency.

The employee must be able to tolerate a high pace and work well in a team environment.
