Job Summary:

As a Production Supervisor at Goodyear, you will be responsible for overseeing and performing retreading functions for light and medium truck, bus, and specialty tires. You will also provide leadership for Retread Technicians and ensure the attainment of unit per hour goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely and proficiently operate all machines and perform all functions in the retread plant.
  • Ensure all documentation and production records are completed accurately and properly.
  • Maintain production schedules, control production, and control quality of production.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to meet the service goals of the plant and guests.
  • Set standards and ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
  • Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time, which may include light and heavy lifting, standing, bending, and squatting.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • No relocation is being offered for this position.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Retread manufacturing experience.

Desired Skills:

  • Strong oral and written communication ability.
  • Commitment to follow all safety procedures and work in a safe manner.
  • Ability to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment as part of a team.
  • Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and work without direct supervision.
  • Willingness to attend appropriate training sessions.
