Our Technicians are tasked with multiple customer engagements each day, which involve conducting site assessments, installing satellite systems, ensuring optimal broadband connectivity, and guiding our customers on the exceptional DISH Satellite services.

Key Responsibilities of Satellite Technicians:

  • Perform site evaluations to identify the optimal placement of satellite equipment and effectively communicate options to clients.
  • Execute installations by setting up mounts, satellite dishes, and receivers while ensuring proper connectivity.
  • Educate customers on their DISH equipment and provide guidance on utilizing their new technology.
  • Promote additional Dish Smart Home Services, allowing technicians to earn extra income on each installation.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

An ideal Installer/Technician will possess:

  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy equipment, navigate tight spaces, and work in various weather conditions.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record and access to a compliant installation vehicle.
  • Experience in the cable or satellite industry is advantageous.
  • Successful completion of a drug screening prior to scheduling.
