Salary and BenefitsWe are seeking an experienced Commissioning Specialist to join our team in Anchorage, Alaska. The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000-$160,000 based on qualifications and location. Job DescriptionThis role will provide commissioning services to our clients across various work sectors, including healthcare, state and federal government, corrections, education, and industrial. Key responsibilities include:
  • Planning and developing commissioning processes for mechanical, electrical, and building systems
  • Leading the commissioning team, including owners, designers, technicians, and contractors
  • Maintaining familiarity with applicable ASHRAE, ACG, and NEBB guidelines
  • Inspecting, testing, and TAB processes for mechanical and electrical building systems

Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
  • A registered engineer with at least 10 years of building construction design experience in HVAC, Electrical, and/or Controls
  • At least 5 years of Total Building Commissioning experience
  • Certification as a professional commissioning provider (ACG, ASHRAE, NEBB, BCxA, UoW) or willingness to get certified with company support
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel up to 25% for project support
