Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Delivery Driver to join our team at CVS Health. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of medication, equipment, and supplies to long-term care facilities and patients' homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver medication, equipment, and supplies to designated locations in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Load and unload products/materials from delivery vehicles in a safe and orderly fashion.
  • Responsible for vehicle maintenance and alerting management for maintenance issues.
  • Take important steps to ensure all medication needs and regulatory compliance standards are met for our patients and demonstrate ethical conduct and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  • Maintain and full compliance with all Federal, State and Local laws and regulations.
  • Maintain highest professional and ethical standards.
  • Log deliveries and return accompanying documents as appropriate.
  • Confirm correct medication is in correct shipment packaging for the facility.
  • Maintain safe operation of all delivery vehicles.
  • Use of mobile phones and applications to navigate your route using basic internet applications and GPS functions per designated route sequence.
Requirements
  • Verifiable High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • The ability to concentrate on a task over a period without being distracted.
  • Use and understand verbal and written communication to interact with customers and colleagues.
  • Actively listening by giving full attention to what others are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
  • Is able to judge when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong; recognizing there is a problem.
  • Choosing the best course of action when faced with a complex situation with several available options.
  • Customer service orientation.
  • Possess geographical knowledge of service area.
  • Flexibility required Nights and Weekends.
  • Current, valid driver's license in the state at the level required for the vehicle's operation.
  • Ability to drive for long periods of time.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in the long-term care industry.
