Key Responsibilities
Job Summary
The Home and Community-Based Services Aide is responsible for providing support and assistance with personal hygiene and household tasks, enabling individuals to remain in their homes.
Specific Duties/Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
- Report any observations regarding the client's condition to the agency director or account manager.
- Drive safely and adhere to traffic regulations when travel is necessary.
- Help with household tasks that are essential to the client's personal care.
Preferred Experience
- At least six months of experience in home care is preferred.
- Successful completion of a competency evaluation.
- Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to reliable transportation.
- Current CPR certification.
In Tennessee: Completion of a total of seventy-five (75) hours of training, including sixteen (16) hours of clinical training within the first three months of employment, is required. The candidate must be qualified to provide basic services, including personal care and essential household services.
