Xylem I LLC is seeking a highly skilled Vegetation Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our equipment and vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Equipment Operation: Operate bucket trucks and other equipment as directed by the Foreperson, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and company policies.
- Maintenance and Repair: Assist in the maintenance and repair of equipment and tools used in operations, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Customer Relations: Maintain excellent customer relations, providing exceptional service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Reporting and Administration: Perform daily reporting using the AMS system to submit timesheets and billing information, and track and report mileage to the Foreperson.
- Storm Work and Emergency Response: Participate in storm work and emergency response efforts as needed, ensuring the safety of employees and the public.
- Accident Reporting and Safety Protocols: Accurately report accidents and incidents, and adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
- Experience: Two years' experience in Vegetation Management, with a focus on bucket truck operation and maintenance.
- Certifications and Licenses: Active Class A CDL required, with a clean driving record.
- Skills and Knowledge: Knowledge of daily maintenance and safe operations of all equipment used, as well as experience in safe operations and maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
- Physical Demands: Ability to hear verbal instructions from a distance, and to perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment.
