We are seeking a motivated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our medical practice in St. Louis, MO. As a key member of our team, you will provide direct patient care alongside our dedicated Orthopedic team, working with a comprehensive approach to adult patients with spinal disorders. Our ideal candidate is comfortable working within a team setting, collaborating with a knowledgeable and well-respected group of professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient exams and evaluations for adult spine surgical disorders, including medical history, physical exams, and review of pertinent medical records and imaging.
- Order and review tests and labs, formulate diagnosis and treatment plans, and educate patients on diagnosis, treatment options, and rehabilitation exercises.
- Assist with patient care management, including surgical first assist in ambulatory surgical centers, and document progress notes.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care and assist in spine expert witness case reviews.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
- PA/NP license in MO.
- Orthopedic, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, or Pain Management background is a plus.
