Compensation:
Pay Range: $21.70 - $38.00 DOE

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine maintenance on packaging machinery to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues with packaging equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
  • Respond swiftly to equipment failures and implement effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and rectify recurring issues.
  • Document all maintenance activities, including repairs and inspections, in accordance with company protocols.
  • Assist in the setup and commissioning of new packaging machinery.
  • Manage inventory of spare parts and reorder supplies as necessary.
  • Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry regulations during maintenance tasks.
  • Provide training to production staff on proper equipment operation and maintenance.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three years of relevant mechanical experience, including training in automated packaging systems.
  • At least two years of basic electrical and electronics experience.
  • Two years of experience in welding, cutting, and fabrication processes.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in various environmental conditions.
  • Proficient in English with strong mathematical skills.
  • Demonstrated reliability, particularly regarding safety and attendance.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work from heights.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime.
  • Must possess personal tools.
