Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Five Star Residences of Fort Wayne.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for an LPN with clinical expertise and sensitivity to provide high-quality care to our residents. As a key member of our community, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and promoting a positive resident experience.
Responsibilities:
- Clinical Care: Assist with personal hygiene, administer medications, reposition patients, facilitate toileting, and take vital signs as needed.
- Communication: Observe and report health changes, maintain accurate daily records, offer emotional support, and promptly recognize abnormalities.
Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital or clinical setting is necessary.
- Licensure/Certification: Valid, unrestricted LPN certification or State/Local equivalent is mandatory.
Desirable Skills:
- Emotional Intelligence: Possess strong emotional intelligence and listening skills to effectively interact with residents.
- Dedication: Demonstrate dedication to the medical field, particularly towards working with elderly residents.

Five Star Residences of Fort Wayne offers a supportive work environment with over 150 units providing independent living and assisted living options. Our beautiful community is located in Fort Wayne, IN, offering a unique blend of comfort, security, and personalized care.
Compensation:
The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, based on relevant experience and qualifications. Benefits include comprehensive training, opportunities for professional growth, and a competitive compensation package.
