Principal R&D Engineer

At MacLean-Fogg, we're seeking a highly skilled Principal R&D Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Foundry Core Engineering team, you will be responsible for driving innovation and excellence in DTCO and rapid PPA closure on high-performance designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement advanced node processes to deliver best-in-class PPA with Fusion Compiler.
  • Collaborate closely with R&D and Foundry partners to enhance EDA engines and improve PPA and runtime for customer designs.
  • Design and implement synthesis, place and route, and physical design solutions to meet Foundry and customer needs.
  • Engage with early new node customers and support the deployment of the latest technologies.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Science with 5+ years of experience in digital VLSI design, synthesis, place and route, and advanced node concepts.
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor physics and ability to work with complex technical concepts.
