Responsibilities- Provide primary medical management and emergency stabilization of critically ill neonates and infants
- Participate in daily rounds and manage a caseload of patients in the NICU
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the unique needs and circumstances of each patient
- Collaborate with our team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care
- Provide education and support to families, staff, and other healthcare professionals
- Master's degree in nursing (or equivalent)
- Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license in the state of practice
- Certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner through the National Certification Corporation for the Obstetric, Gynecologic and Neonatal Nursing Specialties (NCC)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- S.T.A.B.L.E. certification
This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with frequent exposure to blood, body fluids, and tissue. The incumbent must be able to stand for prolonged periods, travel throughout and between facilities, and perform duties that require manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
