Job Title: Diesel Technician

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team at Ryder System. As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty vehicles.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems.
  • Conduct safety inspections and ensure all vehicles are in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and achieve goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques in the industry.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Vocational or technical certification in vehicle maintenance and repair services preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with diesel engines and heavy-duty vehicles.
  • Ability to pass a Ryder drug test and previous employer's for the past 3 years, DOT physical, Ryder road test, pass a Ryder Background check and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
