Job Title: Environmental Geologist

BB&E is a leading civil and environmental engineering and consulting firm seeking a highly skilled Environmental Geologist to join our team in Norcross, GA.

Job Summary

We are looking for a talented Environmental Geologist to support industrial and federal environmental remediation projects and programs. The successful candidate will have a strong background in geology, hydrogeology, and environmental science, with experience in fieldwork, data interpretation, and report writing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform fieldwork, including collecting soil, sediment, and groundwater samples
  • Supervise the installation of soil borings, monitoring wells, and direct push technology (DPT) borings
  • Interpret analytical laboratory and geologic data, and prepare reports documenting the work performed, results, and findings
  • Support project teams and contractors in preparing scopes, plans, and instructions
  • Review and manage project data for reporting
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in geology, hydrogeology, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an environmental professional
  • 40-hour HAZWOPER certification
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time
