Position Overview


We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Radiology department. This role emphasizes the importance of diversity and inclusion, welcoming applicants from various backgrounds.

Work Schedule:
Part-time position (24 hours per week), primarily on weekdays with some flexibility required.
On-Call Requirement:
Every 6 weeks.

Department:
Radiology - Pre, Post, Intra

Key Responsibilities


The Registered Nurse will lead the healthcare team by fostering authentic relationships with patients and their support systems. Collaboration with physicians and team members is essential to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate personalized care plans that promote optimal health outcomes.

The RN will utilize evidence-based practices and compassion to guide patients through their healthcare journeys.

The Registered Nurse will accept responsibility and accountability for the management and delivery of care in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Qualifications
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program.

If your RN license has been inactive for five years or more, successful completion of a Board-approved refresher course is required for reactivation.


Experience:
Preferred: One year of relevant nursing experience.

Licensure/Certification:
Current RN licensure in the appropriate state is required; ACLS certification is preferred.
Essential Skills:
Ability to manage ventilators, titratable BP support medications, and knowledge of EKG rhythms are required. Previous experience in progressive/telemetry or critical care/neuro settings is preferred.
