Role Overview:

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize technical and functional knowledge to craft and execute comprehensive test strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects of moderate complexity, contributing as a vital team member.
  • Design and implement formal test plans to guarantee the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
  • Lead and engage in test planning and quality assurance review sessions.
  • Supervise the creation of test cases and scripts, covering various testing types including application, network, system, regression, and user acceptance testing.
  • Participate in daily discussions to facilitate hands-on testing as necessary.
  • Conduct testing activities encompassing planning, design, scripting, execution, debugging, and reporting.
  • Oversee automation testing efforts for large-scale projects.
  • Collaborate with technical and business teams to define the testing scope.
  • Investigate new tools and methodologies for testing, ensuring effective implementation and monitoring.
  • Manage post-test execution tasks, including error debugging and reporting.

Required Qualifications:

  • 9+ years of relevant technical experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of information systems components (hardware, software, and network) and their application in business processes.
  • Familiarity with testing tools, database concepts, and MS Office applications.
  • Experience with Postman and JMeter.
  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and methodologies such as Agile/Scrum.
  • Hands-on experience in testing APIs and RESTful/JSON web services.
  • Awareness of key business processes and rules affecting information systems development and implementation.
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement across all processes, including team standards, test planning, resource allocation, and execution.
  • Experience in the financial services sector.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Merchant Payment Processing, including authorizations, clearing & settlement systems, and fraud/security analytics.
  • Knowledge of Payment Processing for Financial Institutions, specifically regarding debit cards, loans, and credit card systems.
  • Familiarity with applications in the payment industry.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience and/or certifications.
