About This Role

At Bank of America, we are committed to helping our clients achieve their financial goals through innovative solutions and exceptional service. As a Network Automation Developer, you will play a critical role in developing and delivering complex requirements to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain Python-based applications and scripts to automate network operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements.
  • Design and develop microservices, APIs, and service templates that define the services we provide to our customers.
  • Manage and maintain Linux servers and systems, ensuring system security and compliance with Bank of America best practices.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for deployment automation and test new services to ensure they function as expected.
Requirements
  • 8 years of experience in software development, with a strong proficiency in Python programming and Linux OS.
  • Experience with shell scripting, version control systems, and network protocols and services.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication and collaboration abilities, and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of database systems, Arista ACE Level 5+, or Cisco DevNet S/P/E.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Ansible.
