Position Summary:

We are seeking skilled Machine Operators for our CNC machinery:

CNC Machining Specialist

The CNC Machining Specialist plays a crucial role in operating and loading materials into CNC machines efficiently, ensuring high-quality output while adhering to safety protocols. The focus is on maintaining part quality and production standards while ensuring a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Verify the availability of necessary documentation, tools, gauges, and materials for each task.
  • Conduct inspections of parts using various measuring instruments to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Perform visual inspections for any irregularities and confirm compliance with engineering specifications.
  • Utilize aqueous degreasing machines to clean parts, ensuring they are free from contaminants.
  • Adhere to all safety and environmental regulations set forth by the company.
  • Execute secondary operations such as stamping and de-burring as needed.
  • Document inspection results, materials used, and production metrics accurately.
  • Load materials into machines and maintain detailed records of operations.
  • Ensure a tidy workspace by regularly cleaning machines and the surrounding area.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding any operational issues and suggest improvements.
  • Separate defective parts from acceptable ones and notify relevant personnel.
  • After training, adjust tools and make necessary machine settings.
  • Manage multiple machines simultaneously while upholding production and quality standards.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Engage in other tasks as directed by the CNC Supervisor.

Shifts:

We operate on three shifts, typically from Monday to Friday:

1st Shift: 07:00 AM – 03:30 PM

2nd Shift: 03:00 PM – 11:30 PM

3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 07:30 AM

Qualifications:

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Skills:

  • Basic mathematical skills, including measurement and calculator usage.
  • Familiarity with measuring tools such as calipers and comparators.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 75 pounds occasionally.
  • Regularly required to stand, use hands, and communicate effectively.
  • Visual acuity for close work and depth perception.

Work Environment:

  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts and potential noise typical of a manufacturing setting.
  • Work may involve slippery surfaces and requires adherence to safety protocols.
