The Opportunity
CareFirst is dedicated to providing outstanding patient care and exceptional customer service. We are currently looking for a PRN MRI Technologist to enhance our operations in Cape Coral.

Responsibilities
  • Employ magnetic resonance technology to identify medical conditions.
  • Conduct MRI and MRA procedures as instructed by a healthcare provider.
  • Ensure safe operation of imaging equipment.
  • Uphold the safety and integrity of MRI facilities.
  • Foster positive relationships with colleagues, other departments, and medical personnel.
  • Provide assistance in other modalities, such as X-ray and front desk operations, as required.
Education and Experience
  • Familiarity with MRI quality control processes and troubleshooting equipment or examination issues.
  • ARRT RT (R)(MR) certification with a current license is mandatory.
  • Proficient in phlebotomy for IV contrast administration.
  • CPR/BLS certification is essential.
  • Previous experience in a medical office, clinic, or healthcare environment is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of medical terminology and coding for diagnoses and procedures is preferred.
  • Ability to operate or learn to operate automated systems and other office machinery.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are required.
