Job Overview

Willingham & Cote PC is seeking a skilled Paralegal to support our insurance defense and medical malpractice teams in East Lansing, MI. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in assisting attorneys with case preparation and management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys in working up cases for trial, including drafting and answering discovery requests, reviewing and redacting claim files, and drafting basic discovery motions.
  • Consistently meet minimum hourly billing requirements.
  • Collaborate with attorneys to ensure the best outcome for clients.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in first and third-party auto no-fault and/or medical malpractice.
  • Proficiency in legal research using LexisNexis, Internet, and other sources.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
