Job Overview

Position Summary:

This role is dedicated to conducting specialized imaging examinations of the breast, playing a crucial part in the diagnosis and management of breast-related health issues.

The Mammography Technologist is responsible for operating mammographic imaging equipment and related devices, ensuring high-quality imaging results.

Demonstrates proficiency in advanced breast imaging techniques, including stereotactic and MRI-guided biopsies, while adhering to sterile procedure protocols.

Provides comprehensive technical care tailored to meet the specific needs of patients.



Qualifications:
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Completion of a Radiologic Technology program accredited by the AMA.


EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the role of Mammography Technologist is preferred.


LICENSURE AND CERTIFICATION:

Must hold a valid Registered Radiologic Technologist certification in Radiography (R) and Mammography (M) from ARRT.


ADDITIONAL CERTIFICATIONS:

Current BLS certification is required.
