We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Repair Specialist to join our team at Big Brand Tire & Service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing front-end mechanical repairs, including alignments, brakes, steering/suspension, fluid exchanges, and repairing/replacing components such as water pumps, alternators, belts, hoses, and radiators.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues, including engine problems and transmission issues.
- Work with team members to ensure that all repairs are completed to the highest standards and that customers are satisfied with the work performed.
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide them with options for repairs and maintenance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques in the automotive repair industry.
- At least 2 years of professional mechanical experience working in automotive repair.
- Energetic, ethical, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to examine and identify necessary repairs and maintenance needed.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members to ensure mechanical issues have been addressed and recommendations are made.
- Physically able to lift 70 lbs. and endure continuous crouching, bending, and turning.
- Clean driving record and a valid driver's license.
