Job Overview

RAYUS Radiology is a pioneering radiology center that challenges the status quo by shining light on diagnostic imaging and making it a critical first step in diagnosis and proper treatment.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year

As an MRI Technologist, you will play a vital role in producing high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes. You will operate assigned scanners to take clear images, provide excellent customer service, and guide patients through the examination process.

This is a full-time position working days and weekends. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to work independently, and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Patient Preparation and Imaging: Screen patients before exams for any precautions or contradictions, explain procedures, position patients correctly, and perform routine and advanced MRI procedures with minimal supervision.
  • MRI Scan Parameter Adjustment: Adjust scan parameters correctly and as needed to ensure high-quality images.
  • Patient Support and Safety: Provide patient support during procedures, follow safety regulations, and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Record Keeping and Maintenance: Accurately maintain patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS) and ensure equipment is in good working order.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Department Support: Assist with maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual, monitor medical supply inventory, and request supplies as necessary.
  • Training and Development: Assist with training new associates, providing resource and technical expertise as applicable.
