Medical Assisting Skills Lab Instructor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced medical assisting skills lab instructor to join our team at National Louis University's Accelerate U division. As a key member of our faculty, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality education and training to our students, preparing them for successful careers as medical assistants.
Responsibilities- Facilitate 2.5-hour skills lab training sessions for a group of 8-12 students, covering topics such as infection control, patient communication, vital signs, and medication administration.
- Closely assess student skill level throughout lab sessions and provide individualized feedback on areas for improvement.
- Coordinate with the Accelerate U team, including assistant instructors, to ensure a seamless learning experience for students.
- Promote student success by demonstrating flexibility, passion for teaching, and a commitment to engaging students in the learning process.
- Highly proficient in medical assisting clinical skills, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical role and setting.
- Excellent facilitation and classroom management skills, with the ability to work with a diverse faculty and student body.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to student success.
- Minimum of an Associate's degree in a related field of study, with a preference for those with a Bachelor's degree or higher.
