Job Summary

Cynet Health is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Hackensack, NJ. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to patients in various settings, including the ER, ICU, and NICU. Responsibilities
  • Respiratory Care Services
    • Administer routine and complex respiratory therapy procedures to patients of all ages, as prescribed by physicians.
    • Set up and operate acute care ventilators for continuous short and long-term mechanical ventilation of adults, pediatrics, and neonates.
    • Perform assessments to determine patient needs and develop treatment plans.
    • Monitor patient responses to therapy and record treatment outcomes.
  • Equipment Maintenance and Safety
    • Clean, sterilize, assemble, and maintain equipment and supplies.
    • Ensure the safe and effective use of oxygen and other respiratory therapy equipment.
  • Communication and Documentation
    • Communicate effectively with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.
    • Document patient treatment plans, progress, and outcomes accurately and thoroughly.
  • Professional Development
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest respiratory therapy techniques and technologies.
    • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification
    • Current license or written permission to practice as a Respiratory Therapist.
    • Active registration with the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
    • Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP Certification.
  • Experience
    • At least 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital setting.
    • Experience in ER, ICU, pediatric, and neonatal care is preferred.
