Highly Experienced Surgical Technologist for Travel Opportunities

About the Role
UW Health University Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Surgical Technologist to join our team. As a member of our surgical team, you will play a vital role in preparing the Operating Room for surgery, promoting patient safety, and assisting the surgeon during procedures.
Schedule Information
This is a 36 hour per week position working nights with 12-hour shifts from Monday to Friday, 6:30 pm to 7:00 am. The schedule includes no call, no weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare the Operating Room for surgery, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
- Promote patient safety by maintaining a sterile environment and adhering to infection control protocols.
- Assist the surgeon during procedures, providing support and care to patients as needed.
- Care for instruments and supplies used in surgery, ensuring they are properly cleaned and maintained.
Requirements
- A minimum of two years of scrub experience or equivalent relevant experience is required.
- Strong cardiovascular, endovascular, and peripheral vascular experience is essential.
- Transplant experience is also required.
- A skill checklist must include high ratings in cardiovascular, endovascular, and peripheral vascular skills.
- Successful completion of a surgical technologist program or two years of experience in the Surgical Technologist role may be considered in lieu of program completion.
