Med Surg Nurse Opportunity in Roswell, New Mexico

We are seeking a highly skilled Med Surg nurse to join our team at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center. As a travel nurse with HealthTrust Workforce Solutions CHS, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing exceptional patient care while expanding your professional skills.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement individualized plans of care for patients, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical interventions.
- Monitor and record patient condition, communicating effectively with the care team, physicians, and family members as needed.
- Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
- Evaluate learning needs of patients and families, providing education and training as required.
- Work as an advocate for patients' physical and emotional well-being.
- Minimum of one year of acute care experience in a hospital setting.
- Current state nursing license.
- Appropriate certifications for specific position.
- Degree from an accredited school.
- Able to communicate clearly, with proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
