We are currently in search of a Purchasing Agent to join our esteemed team at HIROTEC.

The selected individual will oversee the processes involved in acquiring goods and services, including raw materials, equipment, tools, parts, and supplies essential for our operations. Responsibilities include reviewing requisitions and collaborating with vendors to gather information regarding product pricing, availability, and delivery timelines. The role also involves selecting items for procurement through testing, observation, or examination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate bid proposals and negotiate contracts while adhering to budgetary constraints and authority limits.
  • Maintain detailed procurement records, including purchased items or services, costs, delivery schedules, product quality, and inventory levels.
  • Assess market prices to estimate values and determine procurement methods, such as direct purchases or bidding processes.
  • Prepare purchase orders or requests for bids.
  • Address issues related to defective or unsatisfactory goods or services by consulting with inspection or quality control personnel, users, vendors, and others to identify the source of the problem and implement corrective measures.
  • Facilitate the expedited delivery of goods to users when necessary.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree along with one to three years of relevant experience in high-volume purchasing environments. Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications are essential.
