Chief Radiologist

Overview

Dartmouth Health's Department of Radiology is seeking a Chief Radiologist to join our dynamic department in the beautiful Upper Valley region of New Hampshire and Vermont.

The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and executing a vision for a world-class breast imaging service, growing an efficient and productive clinical service, nurturing a robust educational program, and spearheading scholarly efforts.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a nationally known leader in breast imaging to make a significant impact at Dartmouth Health, with leadership responsibilities across the health system and at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth.

Clinical Excellence

The Chief Radiologist will ensure the breast imaging service line is productive, cutting-edge, and collaborative, with opportunities to expand services and hone existing ones.

The section currently provides a full range of breast imaging techniques, including all-tomosynthesis screening mammography, diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, and breast biopsies.

Educational Excellence

The Chief Radiologist will define goals for developing a world-class educational environment, with a focus on teaching radiology to medical students, residents, and fellows.

Dartmouth Radiology hosts multiple outstanding residencies, including in Diagnostic Radiology and an integrated DR/IR program, and has a national reputation for excellence in education.

Scholarship

The Chief Radiologist will have ample opportunities to publish and speak on innovative programs and cutting-edge imaging occurring at Dartmouth Health, with collaboration opportunities with other productive researchers inside and outside the department.

Requirements

• Diagnostic Radiology Board Certified
• Fellowship training and/or extensive experience in breast imaging, including breast MRI and tomosynthesis
• Must obtain and maintain a medical license in both New Hampshire and Vermont
• The ability to be appointed at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank, depending on experience
