KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Direct and manage Just-In-Time stamping and related processes, focusing on health and safety, quality assurance, customer satisfaction, cost management, productivity, environmental compliance, and ergonomic considerations through effective problem-solving.
  • Facilitate clear communication with stamping operators regarding company policies, operational procedures, and environmental standards.
  • Assess and align production goals with operational procedures to enhance product reliability while minimizing expenses.
  • Model safety practices and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Guide, mentor, and cultivate the skills of team leaders.
  • Organize tasks to meet production, quality, and cleanliness objectives.
  • Respond to workplace incidents, conduct investigations to identify root causes, and implement corrective measures.
  • Coordinate cross-training initiatives and maintain comprehensive training records.
  • Authorize leave requests and collaborate with other shifts to resolve production challenges.
  • Set measurable objectives that adhere to industry benchmarks and acknowledge achievements in safety and employee health.
  • Design initiatives to boost employee engagement in safety and wellness programs.
  • Ensure accountability among supervisors for upholding safety regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in automotive manufacturing.
  • A minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Core Tools knowledge.
  • Familiarity with IATF1949 standards.

LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY

  • Ability to read and interpret business documents, compose reports, and effectively communicate information.

MATH COMPETENCIES

  • Understanding of basic mathematical concepts.

ANALYTICAL SKILLS

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to interpret technical instructions.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Employee must be able to sit, walk, use hands, and communicate effectively during work hours.
