As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer, handling products, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Transport and deliver windows and doors to designated locations
- Load and unload products safely and efficiently
- Perform frequent lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying of windows and doors
- Drive tractor-trailer to destinations in accordance with Federal regulations
- Maintain accurate records of driver logs, fuel purchases, mileage, and other required documents
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as Federal, State, and local regulations for safe operation of a commercial motor vehicle
- Answer customer questions regarding packing lists, invoices, packaging, and material content
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- Acceptable accident and moving violation Motor Vehicle Record
- 2 years commercial truck driving experience (equivalent Military DD214 experience is acceptable)
- Ability to read, write, and perform simple mathematical calculations
- Ability to follow instructions and take directions via on-board computer system and by phone and email
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Ability to work independently and effectively with people in a fast-paced environment
