Brakebush Brothers, Inc is seeking a highly skilled Refrigeration Specialist to join our team in Irving, TX. As a Refrigeration Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our ammonia refrigeration systems, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and repair ammonia refrigeration systems, including valve gangs, evaporators, vessels, compressors, and other equipment.
- Observe and record temperatures and pressures as required.
- Maintain air compressors and dryers.
- Maintain water systems, including pumps and softeners.
- Perform HAZMAT duties as required.
- Keep compressor rooms and related areas clean.
- Train others on all aspects of Utilities systems.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support production demands.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year work-related experience.
- Display positive attitude and teamwork skills.
- Ability to stand and walk up to 12 hours per day.
- Ability to frequently bend, twist, and lift 50-70 lbs.
- Must complete a pre-employment physical and drug test.
- Must pass pulmonary fitness test.
- Must complete power jack/forklift training course, Lock Out/Tag Out, and Hazard Communication training courses.
This position requires frequent bending, lifting, and twisting, climbing, working in tight places, etc. Employees will wear personal protective equipment as necessary or required.
