Position Overview

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert technical assistance to the maintenance team.
  • Lead investigations into root causes of failures and implement effective corrective measures for complex and recurring challenges.
  • Manage the Bad Actor Program and devise strategies to improve reliability.
  • Facilitate training and development initiatives for in-house maintenance staff.
  • Support reliability initiatives aimed at enhancing performance, reducing costs, and improving asset effectiveness.
  • Establish, monitor, and refine Preventative and Predictive Maintenance Plans.
  • Develop a systematic approach to equipment maintenance.
  • Contribute to the maintenance budget and capital planning.
  • Assess options for equipment repairs with a focus on cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Provide engineering support for capital projects related to maintenance and reliability.
  • Create and maintain a list of critical equipment.
  • Oversee the management of spare parts inventory for the facility.
  • Develop and sustain inspection programs for vessels and piping systems.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • 6-10 years of relevant experience in a comparable environment (small company, small site, batch operation).
