CNC Machinist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team in Southington, CT. This is a temp-to-hire role with a competitive hourly rate of up to $25.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and manage CNC machines to perform various tasks, including drilling, grinding, and milling.
  • Ensure CNC machine operation adheres to company guidelines.
  • Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to optimize results.
  • Conduct regular machine assessments to guarantee functionality.
Requirements:
  • Manual machine experience is a plus, with proficiency in CNC vertical mills, Bridgeport, Okuma lathe, and Fanuc controls.
  • Ability to interpret mechanical documents and engineering drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and a goal-driven attitude.
  • Good computer and mathematical skills.
