Position Summary
The Aircraft Maintenance Technician is tasked with executing, assisting, and advising on all designated maintenance operations for ACI Jet and external client aircraft. This role necessitates fostering a constructive and efficient rapport with ACI Jet's workforce, suppliers, and clients, either through direct involvement or by overseeing subordinate personnel.
Reporting Structure
This position reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities encompass the following (additional duties may be assigned as necessary by management):
- Daily reporting to the respective Maintenance Team Leader.
- Executing tasks assigned to oneself in alignment with the protocols outlined in ACI Jet's various maintenance manuals (Repair Station & Quality Control Manual and Air Carrier Operations General Maintenance Manual).
- Adhering to all Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), Operations Specifications, Company Policies, and Procedures.
- Ensuring the availability of appropriate technical data during maintenance, preventive maintenance, and alteration activities.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Documenting all maintenance or alteration processes electronically as specified in ACI Jet's manuals.
- Assessing the necessity for hidden damage inspections and executing maintenance appropriately.
- Towing, taxiing aircraft, and conducting run-ups in accordance with applicable standards and procedures.
- Completing all aircraft servicing tasks, including but not limited to: oxygen/nitrogen service, oil and hydraulic fluid checks, etc.
- Submitting all required work orders, reports, and other documentation to the relevant company authority in an organized and timely manner.
- Maintaining a close, productive, and beneficial relationship with ACI Jet managers, peers, colleagues, manufacturer's representatives, repair facilities, and the FAA.
- Ensuring the safety and quality of all assigned duties and responsibilities by actively participating in ACI Jet's Safety and Quality Management System (SQMS) program.
Qualifications and Skills
Required
- A strong passion for aviation.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Possession of a valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in aviation maintenance, preferably in the corporate sector.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Highly motivated and organized individual.
- Proficient in computer applications (MS Office, Aviation Maintenance Software).
- Capability to lift 50 pounds, and perform physical activities such as climbing, kneeling, squatting, and standing for extended periods.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Ability to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with FAR 135 Maintenance.
- Factory training from Gulfstream, Cessna, and Bombardier.
- Technical or college degree is preferred.
Additional Information
This role is classified as a DOT Safety Sensitive position, necessitating participation in a random drug testing program.
Maintenance Technicians are required to be on-call and may need to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Levels of Maintenance Technicians are determined based on qualifications and experience.
Compensation
$52.00/hour | Dependent on Experience
